Vroom

Following a slightly wobbly start to the week I have actually had quite a productive few days.

Amongst other things I have applied for a job (personal statements – fucking WHY?), sorted out some medical appointments and booked my driving theory test.

UPDATE: I PASSED!

This last point is exciting me very much and in a rather premature celebration I am going to have a run down of the cars which are top of my list for buying once I get driving, most of which are wildly impractical and out of my budget. Hurrah!

1. The beautiful, charming and minute Fiat 500.

Yes, it’s miniscule and no, I don’t know how I would fit a car seat and a booster seat in the back of there but goddammit, it’s delightful.

2. The striking, unmistakeable and handsome VW Beetle.

I know, I know, it’s an obvious choice but c’mon, just look at that timeless design. Perfect.

3. The bold, in-your-face amazingness that is the MK1 VW Golf. Convertible, of course. Oh baby.

There are no words needed.

4. The modern-vintage belle: the Nissan Figaro.

I love this car. Mutton in lamb’s clothing? Pretty design with modern stuff underneath. Again, wildly impractical, but who needs practicality when you can have STYLE?!

5. My only truly modern choice: the Citroen DS3. Vroom.

All I need to do is think about how nippy it would be and I start to salivate. I love the sleek modern design of this baby too, which is a feat, considering my love of vintage.

So, there you have it. Which should I choose? Answers on a postcard please!
