We had a great walk the other Sunday, around and about Talybont-on-Usk. We had the intention of finding some waterfalls, but failed somewhat in our planning. Luckily, we called in on some friends who live nearby who chaperoned us.
We stopped off at Talybont Reservior, which looked stunning on the gorgeous, sunny day. We then made out way to Blaen Y Glyn Waterfalls. A lovely, short walk – suitable for 9 year old and puppies – around some stunning scenery in the glorious Brecon Beacons.
We also stopped off for a pint (coffee for me, sigh) in the village of Llanfrynach, which claims to have the smallest library in Wales – a re-purposed phone box!
A lovely day out, I only regret not taking my camera. All photos below are iPhone only, but I hope you enjoy them, and will pay a visit to this stunning part of the country soon.
