Fuck you, Jack Frost.
Though I've been a bit more proactive on social media recently, I still haven't blogged since May… I've been putting it off, really, but I thought I should give it a go.
I sat down to write this massive update on just what has happened since we moved, but to be perfectly honest, reading it back, it was fucking boring. I deleted it.
I will get around to boring you with the details, but for now I just wanted to let you all know that I'm here. It's been a tough year or so, but also a kind of rewarding one. I've made some excellent decisions and some not so excellent ones, met a lot of new people, made a lot of new friends. I'm currently in a bit of a rut, but getting by fairly well by comparison to some of the crapper times of my life.
The freezing weather doesn't help in the slightest, and though on purchasing my ever ice scraper and can of de-icer (for my first ever car), the novelty of the frozen windscreen has thoroughly worn off. This is due in no small part to me being a perpetually late person, so the school run is given that extra tedious element, as I invariably don't realise that the car will be frosted up (like the previous day, and the day before…) until I actually go out. Fuck you, Jack Frost.
Anyway, that's my slice of life for now: It's cold, I'm still alive, hello, goodbye!
Blogging done. I don't know what I was so worried about.
PS. Here's some photos from the Coed-y-Cerrig Nature Reserve that Rose & I stumbled upon the other week. Excuse the poor quality – I had an overly full iPhone! I didn't know algae could be so beautiful. Wales isn't half bad, eh?
